Dentistry is a very stressful profession. Balancing the patient expectations, time pressures combined with complex operative procedures makes even an average day a real challenge.
Without colleagues to discuss issues with, share concerns and ideas, those stresses can soon mount to unmanageable levels. Many of the practitioners we support have ended up with issues following being under extreme stress.
The LDC actively promotes peer support by connecting colleagues together to ensure that when there’s an issue your support network is already there.
